As Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Constellation, Price oversees the company’s legal organization, which includes its regulatory and regulatory compliance, corporate and commercial services, litigation and environmental departments. He is also responsible for the direct management of the legal leadership team.
Constellation is the nation’s largest supplier of clean energy with more than 32,400 megawatts of generating capacity from nuclear, wind, solar, natural gas and hydro assets. The publicly traded company produces about 10 percent of America’s carbon-free energy, making it a leader in addressing the climate crisis and an indispensable partner to businesses and state and local governments with carbon-reduction goals.
Professional Background
Price joined Constellation from the law firm Jenner & Block LLP, where he was co-chair of the firm’s energy practice. Price focused on cutting-edge litigation and regulatory matters relating to energy policy. His experience spans issues including electricity market design, carbon regulation, and transmission policy, as well as landmark work defending state programs that support emissions-free nuclear power plants.
Price previously clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer from 2008 to 2009, served as a Bristow Fellow in the Office of the Solicitor General at the U.S. Department of Justice from 2007 to 2008, and clerked for Hon. Michael Boudin, U.S. Court of Appeals, First Circuit, from 2006-2007.

Price has had a longstanding pro bono practice representing asylum seekers and victims of human trafficking.
Educational Background
Price earned his bachelor’s degree and juris doctor from Harvard University. He also holds a PhD in political science from Harvard University.
