Meet Dave Marcheskie

Crane Clean Energy Center’s Community Relations Manager

Dave brings a vibrant and creative energy to his role as Crane Clean Energy Center’s Community Relations Manager, with over 15 years of experience bridging the nuclear energy industry to area residents and building lasting connections. With a background spanning broadcast journalism and clean energy communications, Dave’s passion for authentic storytelling has made him a trusted voice in every community he's served.

Dave was the TMI Unit 1 Site Communicator until its premature closure in September 2019. You may remember seeing Dave and other plant employees walking alongside the TMI Unit 1 float adorned with cooling towers and dancing bubbles in area parades. Whether it was refurbishing wildlife habitats, stuffing boxes at the Central PA Food Bank, or taking an icy dip at a nearby Polar Plunge, Dave and other site employees were active supporting programs that strengthen our community.

Dave is driven by the power of personal connections and is especially excited to build upon the legacy of Unit 1’s community commitment. He’ll be a main conduit for providing updates during this restart process.

Like many of you, Dave is a huge Philadelphia sports fan and he loves cheering on the Hershey Bears at games with his wife and young son.
